on the road again.... I just cant wait to get on the road the again

Man.... we drove a lot today! We were on the road for about eight hours which means a lot of sleeping, singing, and talking! Ya know, nothing brightens up a road trip like a little Justin Timberlake, Brittney Spears, John Denver, and Plus One. I mean is there really any better combination? I submit that there is not! Amy has a really cool wiener dog named Shirley, she is amazing! She can do all kinds of tricks like sit and... well thats about it but I still think she is stinkin amazing!

Mom and Dad,
I know that you never let me drive to Springfield by myself but I have driven through downtown Chicago, downtown Cincinnati, and to Baltimore. Your son is growing up, so maybe if he wanted to drive to Springfield sometime you should let him ; ) just a thought

First off, when I was 5, I ran away from home and traveled to Denver, SF and LA. When I finally came home my parents still wouldn't let me walk to KC. They didn't think I was grown up enough. Consider yourself warned.
Secondly, you are now officially disowned by your Uncle Dave and me. I imagine he's regretting ever wasting that money on the ballgame after reading what's been playing on your radio. "Is there any better combination?" How about VoL, Eric Clapton, Lost Dogs, Mark Knopfler, Mark Heard, 77's and Bob Dylan to name a few? I thought A&W was there to make sure you guys didn't make bad decisions.
Mom says she still loves you though, and is glad you're having a good time.

I doubt Shirley is cooler then Rudy! What other dog can weigh 3 times his projected body weight and STILL play fetch? There's just no contest. ;)
You're not the only one who still can't drive to Springfield yet... and I'm going to be living there next year. :p
Continue to update and have an amazing time, guys! :)

Hey, I hear your frustrations on getting to drive out of the hometown, but the road between Bolivar and Springfield isn't the safest...I've met a car head-on, twice (well, I was the passenger).

you guys are too funny with your choice of music. keep it up

Peter: Your Dad is right!!!!!!! When I read your post, I thought if he is serious about this music thing, then he is not his father's son, not biologically anyway. The boy was adopted and nobody told me. Son, I still love you--but your Dad and I have much work to do with you. Also, go with your Dad's suggestions on music. Plus add some John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, The Band, and a dash of Van the Man Morrison. Now that's rockin'.
