This morning we left at 8:30 am. We packed the Honda to the brim, but it feels like there's still a lot of room.
We met up with Uncle Dave and Sean a little before game time. As you can see, the new Busch Stadium looks amazing!
Uncle Dave was so incredibly generous; he bought our tickets and even offered to buy us food! Thanks a ton Uncle Dave! You, my dear Cardinals fan, are the man.
The game was great! Lohse went 8 innings and only gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. The last play of the game was amazing; Ludwick had a walk-off diving catch. You will probably be able to catch it on SportsCenter tonight.
We are now at Becca Prosser's parent's house where we will spend the night. Craig, Carol, and Ashley rock. We are having a steak dinner tonight!
We leave for Chicago early tomorrow morning.
What a fantastic start to our road trip!

Fantastic game to watch on tv. The Cardinals are also playing on Fox this next weekend against...the Boston Red Sox! I really hope you fellas get tickets! (How about Ludwicks catch bouncing before he caught it!)

Hey sounds like a great start. Check your email for some edited picture samples.
What a game, yeah! It is great to start with a winner.
What sweet seats.
It was a blessing to get taken out to the ball game.
Enjoy those mid-IL cornfields.
Gentlemen & KC Fans: There is a distinction. KC fans can be nice folks, but they lack the discernment and taste to be gentlemen. They're a little too raw, a little too unrefined. Nonetheless, I want you four to know what a distinct honor and blessing it was to attend the Cardinals' game with you. It is young men like you that truly inspire me. Have wonderful and blessed trip.
