Well. As you can see it is 9am (central time) here in good old Lee's Summit, MO (home of a famous jazz musician Pat Metheny [thank you Uncle Dave] and yours truly). The Detroit/St. Louis game went into extra innings. The game was great. Wish both teams would of lost but I'll be satisfied with it. Then the long haul to Kansas City. So odd to think that we have driven over 4,000 miles in 14 days and seen 10 games with the last one tonight.
However, the drive here was not without excited. About 5:00 am we got a flat tire. The Lord is so faithful that it happened just outside of KC and not any where else. Good ol' faithful spare got us back at 7am and now I am getting a new set of tires (yes, all of them need it) while the guys have crashed in my room for the morning. Tonight should be fun. What a way to end a roadtrip!
Grace & Peace

I just wanted to thank you guys so much for calling at 5:00 in the morning. No worries, it isn't like we sleep at that time or anything. See you tonight!
:D
P.S. Ha Ha Ha Ha!
P.P.S: The message was brought to you by your worst nightmare.
What kind of commentary is "wish both teams would of lost..." :|
I hope tonight's game is great as well with yknw winning.
:) Glad you all are back in MO for the finale. Can't wait to hear all of the stories. I want to officially invite you all for dinner when everyone gets back to town.
God has blessed.

Aaron, hope you are feeling better.
I've been thinking about your plot. Gee, I wonder how anyone could become ill at Arby's (maybe the sandwiches they sell - 5 for $2are actually somewhat spoiled).
Well, maybe not. I guess the only other answer would be bad peanut butter...
Gentlemen: First, Aaron, you're welcome. Next, I must tell all four of you that I am thankful to God that He got you safely through this trip. I thank all of your parents for having the faith in God, and faith in God in you, to support you on this trip. I believe you've represented them well and brought glory to God.
Now for the less serious. I have been absolutely swamped at work. I've been working over time and haven't seriously looked at a newspaper for most of your trip. But I've checked this blog almost every day. I have been entertained, educated, and inspired.
So I thank each of you for allowing us to come along with you. You've set the bar high. Should you look to recreate this in 10, 20, or 30 years, should the Lord tarry, you'll have a big task. So thank God for His grace and enjoy those wonderful memories you've created.
I look forward to your closing comments and videos in the next few days. In Christ, I thank you.
